The purpose of the conference is multi-faceted and includes the following:



1. Building the relationship between the students and the media

2. Educational purposes

3. Enlightenment  - On how the industry operates.
 

4. Student interactivity – To improve the student interactivity between CPUT and other tertiary institutions in the Western Cape as well as delegates and speakers

5. Networking
